Stolen from a dead man's heart

Mother had finally returned home and Claymore greets her with a few excited leaps and a giggle. She gives her mother a nuzzle, but in doing so she smells strangers on her skin. She was curious to what her mother was up to leaving the island, but at least she had returned. She was shocked as her older sister than asks their mother to travel to the mainland. Claymore whimpers in protest, but Neon allows her to go anyay. Neferyt nuzzles her, but Claymore watches longingly as her sister wades further into the sea.

Her eyes don't turn from the shape of her painted sister until her mother suggests they move. She nods and travels beside her mother, but stops as he mother asks if her and Nefeyt had fun. "Not really. I don't understand why you left us all alone. Sister said you were bored here or something, but I don't understand." She watches her mother with a quesioning gaze. "Then there were wolves, but thankfully we got away from them." Her head raises with pride as she continues to walk again.

They come to a spot where her mother stops and begins pushing the snow around. Claymore hasn't been weaned off her mother for long so eating grass eas often forgotten as an option. Her belly rumbles as she spots some blades of grass peeking out over the snow as her mother asks about her eating habits. "I don't know I guess. I prefer your milk, but I guess that is no longer for me is it?" She makes a note to her mother's belly. She may be young, but sister had told her they might be having a sibling come spring.

Claymore pushes some snow around herself where she had seen the grass and nibbles at the blades lazily.
