Angry, she felt very angry
Osceola wasn’t one to ever feel that way, but it had settled in her gut until it was a fire raging through her. Without thinking, she had taken to the sea despite her large belly. At first, her fiery temper helped her cut through the cold waves, but halfway from Tinuvel to the Crossing the chill of the water helped to extinguish the fire and only leave her with exhaustion. Her legs shook as she pulled herself up onto the sandy shore, her body feeling heavier than it ever had before. Her belly looked huge, especially now that her fuzzy coat was slicked down from the water and she could truly see how far it extended.
With a soft, regretful groan, Osceola left the shoreline and ventured further inland. Despite the sun hanging in the sky, the blue roan mare felt no warmth from it. The cutting wind seemed to slice right through her, and despite walking, she was becoming numb with cold despite the harsh shiver racking her body. Osceola knew she had been stupid for what she had done, and her discomfort was punishment as she found a stand of trees to post up in. It did little to help block the wind, the vegetation gone leaving everything naked with only a cover of snow. Hopefully, sooner rather than later, her coat would dry out so that she could warm up and recover so that maybe she could go back home.
