hold me close in this wild, wild world;

Talien's trip to the main island had taken up much of her time as of late but she not unfamiliar to the challenges that faced Liland when it came to the herd. Though she was not apart of his herd when first Liland had met the jungle wolf, she had been apart of this herd long enough to not miss the countless battles that had come and gone. There was a time, small as it was, when Rougaru and Liland came to a sort of agreement, but from the somber expressions of the other herd members, that time had come and gone again.

Cautiously she steps towards the group gathered close around Liland, pale silver eyes miss nothing. Though still determined, the gray stallion seemed disheartened and defeated, no doubt not the sign the rest of the herd seemed hopeful for. She too could not deny herself the sigh of resolution. Belshazar moves his gaze over those gathered, no doubt searching for her. A soft smile tugs her lips upward in the motherly smile as shifts through the crowded throng to halt alongside him. Though Amber Rose was her true born daughter, despite herself she felt closer to the young colt of Sabela that she had come to care for and raise as her own. Amber had taken to her wandering spirit early of age, though nomads were common in Talien's family lineage, she was not thrilled by disappearances that were common with Amber's nature. Nonetheless, she brings her slight frame to a halt beside the young colt, her ashen muzzle tracing the fine dark line that ran the length of his spine. "We are together." the words are spoken softly, their meaning held in different light and yet the weight of the words solid still. She would stay with them each, she would guard and guide them alongside Ylva as she always had. Bel was as much her son now as he belonged to Sabela and to Liland.

Proudly her finely chiseled head is lifted, pale silver eyes glittering in the dim winter's light. Her gaze settles on Liland. For a moment her eyes flash with sympathy. How hard it must be to bid his herd farewell and be left in their wake with nothing but his own shadow for company. It was perhaps worse than losing a kingdom. At least the loss of a kingdom kept family close, Rougaru's request, or Zjeena's as Havelle worded it was cruel, but there was hope at the end of the tunnel at least, they could return after this speech or whatever it was that the queen of paradise wished to give them.

Dex.

Instinctively her gaze searches the nearby woodlands for sign of the hansom bay stallion. Even thinking of him now caused her heart to flutter with that familiar longing. What did this mean for them? Would he come with her? She hoped so, the child that grows her belly now hampers her movements. It was unwise the request for the herd to move to paradise, but nonetheless, if it was what was required, so must she go. "Together we will stay." she breathes with a resolute nod, her chocolate colored tail flicking impatiently against slender hind legs.
