Zafar felt lost and alone. Even though he still had his mother and adoptive Sister Nagin and now his grandfather liland he still felt lost and alone. He was not use to this place let alone knowing his father would never be back for him. Zafar had found himself wandering further and further away from his mothers side as she dealt with her own emotions. Nagini was saddened but she already knew the loss of a parent.
