In her mind, the time for talking was over. There was only blood to shed, a feeling of pressure and feeling alive to the limits of her own capacity. Even as they part for a mere moment, as Yahzeen’s teeth rake at the skin of her head, pinch an ear and rip hair and skin away, Maraigh swings her head about. It was a dance, a display of dominance and a determination between the pair - she was almost oblivious to the grulla woman until she said the words that made her stop dead.
Even if just for a moment.
She swings her head towards her, teeth parting in a menacing smile as she leers towards her.
“How pathetic you must be to think the men are only those who were made to fight,” she snarls with a twist of her head. And in a maddened desire, Maraigh’s eyes flash with a psychopathic light as her pupils seemed to shrink a little, “One good strike and you’ll not have a child to worry about,” she says in a deliberate attempt to get the grulla to make a move towards her, to strike her. She wanted it, she craved it and Maraigh would press all the buttons.
In that breath, Maraigh whistles and twists to the side, first spinning to snap teeth at Yazheen, as she spun upon the same spot to turn towards the fourth, the one who sounded bored by it all - show me your teeth!
Her teeth sought to grab and pull Faolain into the fray, let her taste them both and dance with them, get her blood pounding. Maybe she’d even speak of how it felt, how it was to feel heat rising and the touch of the wind as she whipped back and forth. Maraigh never felt any part of the truth of being alive, completely oblivious to it all.
