The morning dawns with a brilliant show of vibrant oranges and vivid pinks - it lights the world around him with a kaleidoscope of colors. He catches his breath in his lungs as dark eyes roam the sands as far as his eyes can see. This is HIS home. A land that is is apart of him, it thunders through his veins and breathes life into his bones.

He travels across the crest of the dune with precision and skill - a skill that he has attained over the months of living here. A sultry breeze whispers across the sands, it shifts the sands beneath his hooves and conceals his path.

A content sigh escapes his ashen lips as he settles down near the quiet pool beneath the shade of the palm trees. Their dark green fronds reach over the rippling waters and offer their shade to the Sultan and his family. He cocks a single hoof and relaxes; his tail lazily flicks across his speckled sides. A movement draws his dark gaze and a smile tugs at his lips as Shararat makes her way across the desert and toward him.

He fondly remembers their brief conversation in the Commons and has eagerly awaited for another opportunity to speak with her. His ears rotate atop his crown as she closes the distance and his dark eyes find hers as she quietly greets him. "Shararat," he breathes. A smile tugs his lips upward as she asks of his gods, specifically of Bast and Khosu.

"Bast, is the goddess of the protection, she is kind and forgiving... like that of the warmth of the sun just as it peaks above the sands in the morning," he muses aloud as he respectfully drops his crown as he mentions his goddess' name. "Khonsu offers us the moon and the promise of new life, a silver light that shines in the darkness of night, a wanderer.." he pauses as his dark eyes linger on hers.
