Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

not all treasure is silver and gold

He didn't want anything more to do with the mare as he drags himself away from her. Seems she had other plans. His ears pin at the sound of her hoof steps behind him. She no longer moved with the ferocity she had before, but it didn't matter. "Please don't kill me." He whispers under his breath as he attempts to move quickly away from her. He found the faster he went the more things hurt, but it was worth it if he got to keep his life. She speaks in a voice riddled with accent. Verrat doesn't believe he would ever get her voice out of his head.

She calls to him a second time so finally, he stops with ears not holding so tight to his skull any longer. Something tells him she was done with this fight, but he couldn't be too careful. He shifts his body around to face her wondering if her words would actually be true. Would his father be proud of him? He had lost all of their brothers so Verrat didn't see any good outcome when he went to tell Cullen what had happened. He would know the moment he saw his son and his injuries. Was she trying to be nice? He snorts and shakes his head at her offer. Such an offer would only make him seem more child-like. Stay behind and lick your wounds while I escort all your herd away...

"I don't need your mercy," he says with narrowed eyes. "I will go to the Peak just as everyone else right after I tell my father what has happened between us." Then he stands his ground (as offensive as he could look with his injures) and waits for the mare to leave herself before he continues his journey to where Cullen rests. There was no way in hell he would lead anywhere near his father until he could fend intruders off himself.
