Force-claiming is not allowed here. This is a peaceful, neutral area meant for socialising.

Duck, duck, goose!

Duckie wasn't always on the edge of being a bouncing ball. Only sometimes. She was a social creature after all and took that to the max. Because why not!! There was no reason to prance around like you owned your life unless you had something to show for it. Whether that was a long line of championships behind you or just a great personality, you flaunted it. Right? Duckie did anyway. It didn't matter what everyone else did as long as she was satisfied with herself. She was. Just watching her could have your head spinning sometimes as she moved. Then there were times when she just moved so gracefully that you wondered had she been born with this grace? Duckie would probably tell you she had. There is no high class ego there though. She is high-spirited but she is compassionate as well. A friendly creature this girl was unless you did her wrong. Then you'd have her brother and she become whirlwinds of flying hooves and sassy retorts.

Gaze washes over the stallion before her as he spoke of it being okay that her brother didn't appear to want to be social right now and that he hadn't expected an audience then. She contemplated the thoughts in her mind and responded with only a moment or two of silence. "Did we intrude where we shouldn't have?" Not that it would have hurt her any of his response. It isn't like one can read another's mind after all. She probably wouldn't feel too bad though. She's too social and full of that spunk to even realize that another might wish to be alone. Her brother thought better than her most of the time and she could only imagine his thoughts right now. There is a ease in his voice and a softness to his features that had her realizing that he didn't mind anyway. Good! That was a bit more comforting to her either way. She watches him as he seems to have a turmoil of thoughts in his mind then and responds finally. His expression tells a story further though that he thought otherwise. How troublesome that must be to him. She can't even begin to understand what he must be feeling. Something had truly gone amiss for him and it wasn't likely she could do anything there. A bit of comfort though; it was always worth a shot.

"Yes, there is always a chance." Never give up. Those were some strong words to live by. She often wondered sometimes though; if there was always truth to having hope? Not that she is about to voice that this had been a concern of hers. Let's not put Angel back on edge right? He seemed to be doing that enough for himself and perhaps they were a little intimidating. It isn't every moment that you find yourself in the company of not one, but two others. It more than likely didn't help that they were taller but then, Goose had been respectful with his approach and without intimidation when he spoke. Goose frowned at the mention of the lead mare of this one's herd being away in a fight. Interesting. It wasn't very often that you had a female leading a her and fighting for it on top of that. Or was the fight over something else entirely? Goose surely didn't know. There is inquiring then of whether they had a herd here or if they were new. Goose responded this time.

"New." He stated matter of factually. "That obvious huh?" He chuckles a little here and then glanced toward his silent sister. It was odd for her but she seemed to be watching Angel as he spoke and then her eyes had wandered off. What in the world was going on in that head of hers? Gently he gives her shoulder a bump with his whiskery nose. "Hey wall flower. You awake over there?" There's a cocky grin on his face then and his eyes twinkle with a bit of sass. He swung his head back up and away quickly as she went to lip him in mock upset. There was laughter in those eyes of hers though and she meant no harm obviously to her brother. It was just a sort of connection they had that was all. All fun and games for now.

"Yeah. I was just thinking." She grins a bit and returned her attention to Angel then. "New. Yeah! No herd in our current moments." She offered and cleared her throat a little before speaking again. "Fighting huh? What in the world is she fighting for?" Duckie found it a little strange to be honest. It isn't often she'd heard of mares fighting before unless it was over their title. Then again; that was the world of past wasn't it? Many things changed as they had come to travelling. The journey had them meeting many strange happenings and perhaps this was no different.
