It has been a year since Nova demanded he told Tauri the truth. His first born was a mature mare now and he regrets not telling her sooner. He missed too much already, spent so many nights hurting over watching her grow from afar, it was time to end it. He spots his daughter by herself drifting across the snow covered Inlet. For now, Torsten was no where in sight and if he had known it was Torsten's seed in her belly he might have started thus conversation off differently. Wait...she was pregnant?
He finds him legs carrying himself towards her with a quickening speed. He didn't intend to scare her, but the shock took a strong hold over him. How was he about to be a grandsire at the age of six? It was way too young! He skid to a hard stop, pushing snow together in a clump at his hooves. Father and daughter were not just steps away from each other. "My you've grown." The words blurt out before he could stop them. An awkward silence passes between them as Requiem stares at her with his mouth gaping open in bewilderment.
He better tell her now that he has said something. It was now or never. "Tauri I..." he began with a stutter. "I have to tell you something important." He was afraid what wrath this information might bring upon him and his family. Would Warsaw come after him knowing he had bred his mare? Even knowing Nova was not a favorite among the Tinuvel herd Requiem still assumes Warsaw will be pissed when he finds out. His throat clears loudly as he straights up his tense posture. "We have never formally met, but I'm sure you saw me around when I lived here last fall. My name is Requiem de Warsaw, a son of King Warsaw and your sire." There he slipped it in there. He watches her to see if she understood what he had just said.
