in the dark.

~ she brings light to everyone around her.

The fear clenches at her heart and threatens to swallow her whole. She understands the dangers of the sea and that she was fortunate to even have set her hooves on dry sand once again - even if she had use of her eyes, it is a miracle. A single ear rotates to him as he parrots the name of her god and a smile tugs at her lips as she nods her delicately chiseled crown. "He holds dominion over the seas, the one who chooses who crosses the seas safely, and chooses those who will be drowned in its depths," a soft smile tugs at her lips.

Seasons are changing, making traveling alone dangerous.

The fear tastes sour in mouth as she listens to his words. Why would this place be dangerous? She parts her lips to question him, her voice low. "What is it about the change of seasons that makes it dangerous?" she asks with a tilt of her crown.

Her ears flick atop her crown and notices the sound of his hooves shift in the earth beneath him. And then there is the sound of his hooves as they scrape across rocks and dirt as he paws. What stirs him? Finally his thoughts are on his own lips. He worries for her and her well-being, and this gladdens her heart... eases the fear that threatens to drown her beneath its weight.

I have a home.

And then he offers to help her find her sister and her soft smile widens. "You do not owe me the kindness, but..." she pauses as she swivels her head to look in the direction she knows he stands. "I am grateful," she finally breathes.

Ailill.

She can feel his kindness, it radiates from him and her soul is at ease. "Ailill, I am Rahsheda," she whispers as she dares to reach her muzzle toward his. She is clumsy and out of practice when she reaches to touch him. She can feel her skin quiver with their proximity and her heart thunders in her chest; his scent is warm and masculine, a scent she is unaccustomed to.

"I would love to see your home. Please lead me there for I have no sight."
