Enough. You are acting like children. A snort rips from his nostrils and his ears tip back as Siobhan narrows her eyes on him. He could feel his blood boil beneath his smoky hide as he eyes Siobhan for a brief moment before finally an exasperated huff leaves his lips. "Fine," he growls just above the sound of the waves. He purposefully puts distance between them and allows his blood to cool.
He settles himself close to the dense jungle foilaige and beneath the emerald green fronds of the palm trees. His tail snaps across his haunches as he waits for the pair to join him as he seethes at the lack of respect he has been shown today. If they had been in the Norðurland there would of been consequences for speaking to an overlord in such a manner. Fortunate for her, he has forgiven her for her outbursts and the lack of respect she has shown Siobhan and himself.
As they make their way to him, he can feel the muscles along his neck relax and the tension leave his muscled crest. His glacial eyes turn upon Poka and her question is directed at him. He clears his throat and his voice rumbles from deep within his chest. "Yes, those other places are islands. Whomever you search for may just have ended up there," he says and as the last words leave his lips they are gentle.
Despite her best efforts, he begins to notice a crack in her rough facade. Her next question is soft and muttered to Siobhan, but he can hear the words and the question she asks. She worries. She worries for someone who may of drowned. And his heart stills in his chest as realization floods across his bald face. She possibly could of lost someone she holds dear to Ægir's murky depths.
