Indira fills her belly with the same urgency she felt steeling into the Lagoon earlier this day. This is a high that will take some time to come down from. Taking charge of her life, and the lives of those who would violate her, is sweeter than the sweetest spring grasses, and riper than the juiciest fruits. But along with the thrill of taking charge comes a measure of risk and its companionable fear. They are at war. The bachelors are ruthless. They still might seek revenge for what she's done, even if Raider was not a comrade among them worth saving in the moment.
Uneasy eyes catch the approach of another in their periphery. Indira lifts her head, and turns her face to see who comes. Relief comes in the form of a mare. Indira regards the mare with both curiosity and wariness in her expression. Her eyes evaluate the mare's rough appearance, and her nostrils catch whiff of the Lagoon. Might this be a captive? If so, the bachelors have certainly lost their touch. There was once a time when they would never let a pet like this get loose.
Indira's ears turn. It sounds like she might get an introduction but the stranger catches wind of her bloodied hide and asks what she's done before Indira has a chance to answer. "Oh, I just took out the trash.", Indira responds. A proud smirk pulls at the corners of her lips. Her heart races. The reality of what she's done sets in as she starts speaking of it aloud. Hopefully this mare isn't loyal to any bachelor lover. It doesn't matter what backlash might come her way, Indira is glad Raider is dead. Given the chance, she would kill him all over again.
