you want a banana fritter? [open]

It had been a good swim. And quite the distance, and it seems that she was fated to come here.

No, that’s stupid, shut up brain.

It was in Paradise she was though, where she’d come ashore like some beached whaled rolling through the waves. She hadn’t gotten hold of the way to swim through boiling surf, and she was sure it had looked quite the spectacle. Limbs flailing, rolled over and by the ways. She was laying there as the water washed over her.

And she was laughing.

“Oh boy, that was amazing,” she says, and she was tempted to do it again. She struggled to her feet, giving her entire body a huge shake and almost keeling over again with a short intake of air, but she wasn’t here just to play in the waves.

Leyra shook herself again, just for good measure, and turned to look about her. It was different to where she’d been, and she was glad. She gave a snort and trotted up the shoreline and into Paradise. She’d hopefully find Monster, be good to see her again.

And maybe run into some others.

It would be fun, either way, she thought as her blue eyes lit up bright as she trotted along.
