He could see the adventurous glint in her eyes and he knew it well. He had it once himself too. When he was young and without a care in the world. When he had hope that he would return for Talien once he'd proved himself, when the world was his for the taking. Only to find out in the end, he didn't want any of it. He just wanted her. Sure, he would make friends and allies and he would help out anyone in need because it was the right thing to do. But whether she knew it or not, his world revolved around that pretty champagne mare. Sighurd was a free soul and she deserved to stay that way as long as she wanted to. He hoped that all her dreams and hopes for the future came out to be reality. She brushed off his apology, telling him there was no need for manners and he shook his head with a snort. "That's where you're wrong. High class or not, every lady deserves manners from a gentleman and that's what I claim to be." He said with a roguish smirk and a twinkle in his eye. Then was the dismissal. She said she had a boy to see in the Inlet and asked where she could go. Dex shrugged before nudging his nose to the North. "If you head that way, Tinuvel is directly to the north of this island, though there is a swim. It might be safe for you to go through the Peak if you want less of a swim. You're a mare so you could get away with it." He dipped his head then in farewell. "And if you need another date with the water, Atlantis is a short swim to the south of the Meadow. You'll find me in Paradise." He gave a playful wink before turning to head back that way himself. He had a certain mare to see.
