He didn't know what else to say to her. He didn't know if he should accept her excuses to move forward with Cherokee as his mare. He didn't know if he should trade her off for someone else or keep working on their relationship. There were a lot of things he didn't understand, but he did think he was too inexperienced to make this decision alone. Ironclad did not want to tell in his father, but he would know when he saw her pregnant belly. At least she could admit she was the one in the wrong.

"Just stay here," he says with eyes leaving her form. "Do not leave the Inlet while I think of where our relationship will go from here. I will go try to find some clarity on our matter and while I am gone take care of Aiyana and this new child in your belly." Even if the child wasn't his he couldn't bear to see anything bad happen to the foal. Secretly he hopes she would have a girl just so he wouldn't have to raise another stallion's son. He turns away from Cherokee and heads towards the sea where he would find a distraction in the commons.

Maybe it he brought home a new mare he would feel better about this whole sitatuion. He could also pay a visit to Xiomara and get her veiw on this mess.
