He had planned to head home with his father and Ylva but Belikov was upset not with his father but with everything in general. His family was now liing in paradise and refusing to go home. Everyone except him and Ylva that is. Grier he understood why she didn't want to go but ohe feared she never return plus this was not fair to his father at all. He had been letting the past go and just as he was gonna entirely forget about Zjeena and even forget about meeting his foal with her Rougaru came and took them all for Zjeena. So really who was stuck living in the past now?
He wanted to convince Grier to come home, his father loved them all they were his family but something told him they believed Zjeena and might not care to see that he has changed. They all changed him. Grier and Pidgeon brought life back into his eyes. TAlien even though she denied it brought advice. Ylva brought care and compassion. ANd all his foals brought him happiness. Now not even HAvelle seemed to be willing to go home. All because of how Liland behaved in the past or just because they felt more loyal to each other and did not care that this hurts his father. He didn't know any more.
He didn't exactly want to tell his mother all this because he wasn't sure what his mother thought of his father. His father had loved his mother just like the others and yet she too chose to stay with the stallion who won her. Making him make a choice he didn't want to make.
