COPELAND FOREST

Finally, today, a couple of warbler species. A small group of Yellow-rumped
and Black and White Warblers moving through very quietly at the north end of the DU Pond. Also several Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and a Solitary Vireo.
Swamp Sparrows now more numerous and vocal, and a Virginia Rail heard. A flock of migrating Barn Swallows hawking for insects over the pond. Surprisingly there are apparently no Tree Swallows resident there.
