Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

am i the boy you dream of

do you believe in love?
Snake is comfortable enough. This place, while strange, wasn’t the worst. Nothing so much was the worst anymore. It had all played out in his head, and Snake was fine with that. At this point, nothing could touch him. Nothing could make things any different than they were, and that was the cold truth. Comfortable, yet there was this… creeping feeling. Unsettled was the word for it, he decided at last.

It should have been unusual for this place to be so quiet. Snake could smell many different things here, but this was a home, not a passing place. Not like the Meadow, not like the Falls. There should have been so many men that called this place home, but why… why was it so quiet?

The woman who appears looks… a lot like him. A lot like home. A lot like all the things and people he left behind. Woah. Carefully, Snake watches her. She’s more refined, built more delicately, but the similarities are undeniable. “I’ve only just arrived… seems everyone has gone missing, really.” His ears flicker, eyes resting on the mare’s face for a long moment. Contemplating. She looks like home.
