Honestly, he hasn't spent much time nestled up to any one of the other gender. Sure, he flirted (he seems to have been born with the charm), but he never really spent time sharing the warmth between two bodies that weren't his family. It felt very different. A chuckle passes through his lips as she asks if he felt cold now. Even though their body heat was warming, her damp coat caused his own to get damp and the cold chill of the Tinuvel winds made him shiver. His head just nods in response, but he tries not to complain too much. He would rather have this moment then ruin it with a complaint. She might never come back again.

They were having a great time until she had to bring up Valka. Wait, she says and a lump instantly forms in his throat. He didn't know where it was going at first, but he had a bad feeling. Their pace slows to a stop as he notices how Sighurd searches the surrounding area. It was clear she was looking for something, someone. Uh oh. The mare of fluff's name comes out of her mouth as she turns to stare at him wide-eyed. He takes a step back at first feeling like she might jump him if he said the wrong thing. His serious look couldn't be kept up at her next question. He laughs, shaking his head.

"No, no Valka is very much alive," he begins with a nervous shuffle of his hooves. "I, uh, got a little ahead of myself claiming her. I think she was looking for someone a bit older and stronger, but since I have no idea what she was even saying to me I can't say for sure." A sigh leaves his lips as his shoulder shrug. Dark blues pull away from Sighurd and cast upon the various trees of aspen and spruce. He debates on telling her more of the truth. "I traded her to strengthen an alliance in Paradise." The words slip out regrettably. Though he was excited to meet Medusa he wished he would have given Valka another chance and not gotten so hot-headed in front of her and Liland. He did learn he wasn't sure how he would work well with Liland on the island and if he even wanted him to be apart of this kingdom.
