He has kept himself busy after dealing with the Cherokee incident. He claimed Valka, which didn't turn out in his favor, but he traded her for a future relationship with Paradise. Keeping his father's ties with Rougaru was important to him as he saw how much Rougaru has helped his father in the war. He also knew they have been friends for years so he would hate to break those bonds. Ironclad has yet to meet the filly he traded for, a precious daughter of Rougaru and his Queen, but she was still young so she would stay with her parents for a bit longer.

In the meantime, Ironclad traveled back to the commons and tried his hooves again at claiming a mare. This time he got this one to come home with him, but she has years experience on him. So far in his experiences, the older mares were harder to handle and they usually didn't want to be with such a younger stallion. Only time would tell what outcome Liliya would bring to the table. Ironclad was aiding his father in patroling the Inlet as the sun was starting to rise. Warsaw had woke him early to take part in his duties even though he complained that he needed more sleep. Warsaw was doing well to teach his son what it meant to be a lead stallion and a King. Sometimes you had to do tough things you don't want to do to keep your herd safe.

It was one of his rounds that he spots Cherokee and her new filly. He couldn't stop the smile that spreads on his lips at the sight of the tiny chestnut foal. He had to remind himself the filly wasn't his. A snort bursts from his nostrils as he starts a slow pace towards them. Aiyana and the new filly talk happily to one another so he settles close to Cherokee and nudges her shoulder softly with his own, gazing upon the foals ahead of them. "She looks healthy," he says softly. "Are you feeling okay?" He meant how was she feeling about giving birth, but he knew her answer could mean a number of things.
