Ember waited while her friend also explored the grounds around them. A single hoof cocked to the side, deep brown eyes watching her pale counterpart. She knew the other woman could feel and see the same things she did, but in different ways. Over their year of traveling together she had come to rely on Glenna’s senses as well as her own, as another aspect of everything around her. There was very little she would not completely entrust to Glenna’s judgement. When she spoke, Ember pondered for a moment, her attention wandering back to the falls and the trees around them. Her heart sped as the water continued to pound on the rocks below them. She had a sharp intake of breath when something else hit her ears.
Her head snapped around just in time to see the stallion join their group. Eyes widened in excitement. He was the moon on the earth. Dark and light pelt littered with stars and snowflakes. His guiding light shined from him as indeed the night’s moon gifted them its own light. Ember’s face sparked and she nudged her friend.
Shaking out her body, Ember closed closed any gap between them with a dance to her hooves.
