Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

lady of the water

She follows the plucky colt into the Lagoon. She watches as his gaze lights up as he looks across the vast territory. She cringes a little as he refers to her as Ally and sighs in exasperation. Lord, what would she do with him? It was now Spring and the remnants of winter had all but disappeared. For now, the Lagoon wasn't so bad, although it was a bit desolate. It was also incredibly murky. She noted that there was water nearly everywhere. The steel grey mare's gaze flicks to Fearghas as he asks her a question. She tips her ears forward mulling over it. "No, my home was not like this. But I am not from the Islands." She says.

She meanders past Fearghas looking to the sky as a pair of birds flies overhead. They fly around, swirling around each other, impervious to their presence. She cranes her neck back to Fearghas. "Were you born here?" She asks. She wonders if isolation led him to such an exuberant personality, or if he simply was so young, he hadn't experienced hardships yet. Either way, she was envious to his happiness. It was certainly contagious. Though she'd never tell him that. He might explode.
