Meadow

Spring was her season, not too hot or too cold and the scenery was perfect. The colorful blooms which covered the meadow were the perfect accent to the rich copper and deep inky black of her excellently coiffed coat and hair. Her slender legs strode across the soft, new grass as if she were floating. Every move of her body calculated and arranged just so to be on display for anyone who was wise enough to be watching. Winter had been a disappointing season. The weather had kept the typical crowds off the main island and there had been few willing to take the time to appreciate her as much as she deserved. Now that was doing to change however as she arched her slender neck, pausing in a patch of pink and purple blossoms as her gold eyes swept the area around her. Yes this would do nicely.

For a moment her dainty head lowered to allow her whiskered nose to just brush their delicate petals. Their fragrant scent was utterly pleasing as she drew it in through her nostrils. She wondered for a moment if she stood in their embrace long enough would the scent linger on her body as well, a perfume of sorts. Not that her natural smell was displeasing at all, she was meticulously groomed so that her coat shone in the suns light, but the idea of enhancing that was not displeasing at all the vain woman. Deftly she grasped one of the stems in her teeth, tearing the shoot and blossom from the ground and turning to twine it within the lush hairs of her mane. A light smile danced across her features, pleased with the result. A dash of color to accentuate everything else her perfectly framed body had to offer, yes this would do nicely. Now all taht remains was for someone who could adequetely appreciate what they were seeing.
