There is a lot of dirt on Kamala Harris in a book: Profiles in Corruption by Peter Schweizer. She got her start in California politics by becoming the girl friend of Willie Brown the second most powerful man in California politics. He was married at the time and never left his wife. Harris accompanied him to most political functions. He gave Harris access to a vast network of powerful supporters and donors ultimately leading her to becoming Attorney General and Senator with a lot of shady deals and payoffs along the way.
