GOD WON'T SAVE YOU NOW

Warsaw
you should have known the price of evil

Honestly, the whereabouts of Echo and their son hasn't been at the forefront of his mind. With his injuries, he had figured Echo had escaped back to the Forest, but her scent remains on his island. He was still surprised to lift her solemn gaze to watch the painted boy approach. East was growing, he looked much bigger than the first time he walked the Inlet, but that may be because Warsaw has barely spent any time with his since. The King had already decided it was time to put family above personal gains (expect to keep the Inlet and the kingdom) so greeting his child was a must.

His neck stretches out as his lips part to whinny at the boy, matching the colt as he called out on his own. The images of Neon and their children were blown away with the breeze that fills his nose with East's scent. The blue-eyed boy gets closer quickly until his small voice was noting what he had just seen in Claymore. Warsaw sighs as East looks back towards the forest with concern. The child was kind and caring like his mother. His eyes turn back on Warsaw and he could feel the boy trying to read his face. Why did foals always seem so in tune with emotions?

"It is nothing for you to worry about," he explains with a small, forced, smile. He was curious about what Echo thought of the Inlet. If she had any more reason to leave he fears she would sneak away in the night and take away his chance at getting to know Eastwise. He takes a painful step towards East with his muzzle outstretched to exchange breaths with the boy in a proper hello. "How is your mother doing? Are you two getting any more used to the place?" He asks this as he pulls his face away from East, eyes still on the boy.

"There is much I still need to teach you, son." Whoops. His eyes quickly shift away from the colt and go to the forest as he mutters under his breath. Maybe the colt wouldn't notice the slip of his tongue, but maybe it would be okay to tell him the truth. Perhaps East was old enough to keep a secret from his mother.
