Years of loyalty, which is not her original nature, and years of hurt has brought her to this resolution. She first came to her former home with curiosity and a bold sense of control over the world. The first territory she stumbled upon was so breathtakingly beautiful that she planned to seduce the King and overtake the current Queen immediately. The seducing part was easy, as she expected, but the next part came with more difficulty. The King had a special connection with his Queen and he wouldn't allow another mare to take her title.

She learned she would have to play dirty to get what she wanted.

Himena began to gather information to make a plan. She decided on something that might take the mare from the picture forever, but a problem arose before she could immobilize her plan. Her King decided to give up his home to move in with his Queen's family. Himena followed them with her colt, late in her second pregnancy with her King. Her new home was beautiful, but it just didn't feel right there. That became clear the day her stallion left Beyond with his main mare and left her there alone.

Pissed, confused, and lost she raised two colts by herself. She had finally begun to move on when her old lover returned. They reunited, he apologized, and lastly, he was without that stupid mare he loved so much. They shared a moment as Himena thought he had come back for her, resulting in their first daughter. That was a daughter he never met until she was a yearling because he had left her side yet again. She had guessed his heart still ached for his old Queen. In a fit of rage, she stayed alone with her children until he returned. She kicked herself for following right back into his charms.

Twins were born and words of love had left her lips (though not directly to her suitor). She had him all to herself at last! She followed her mate across the land as they searched for the right home for their growing family. They finally settled somewhere only to have the territory change hands shortly after their arrival. It was annoying to keep moving their twins around, but eventually, her mate had enough of it and challenged for a piece of land for himself.

She became the first mare of Winterfell.

Their older sons reunited with their absent sire and so far everything was going well, except for that dreaded cold. Honestly, Himena hated the place, but it was her goal to stand beside Rougaru as his Queen. She was beautiful enough, sexy enough. She deserves it after dealing with him for this long. The Queen position would not fall into her lap as she wished it would, but Rougaru made it clear that she must work for it. She was beyond mad at this point and had finally made an ultimatum for her lover. If this battle didn't turn in her favor she would take her business elsewhere.

Rougaru didn't deserve any more of her young if he couldn't reward her loyalty.

In yet another pregnancy, she fights another of Rougaru's charmed mares for the leading lady position. Himena rises victoriously to her new position, birthing another daughter (Acalia) weeks after. She was blissfully unaware of Rougaru's sudden disappearance until one of her older sons mentioned they hadn't seen him. A lot of emotions crossed her, but she was sure this time she would not be seeking him out anymore. She was done with Rougaru!

Acalia was raised with her most of siblings and their mother. It wasn't until she was unable to get the silver bay out of her head that she vowed to get revenge. He had to know what he has done to them so she traveled far until she finally found his scent. All this led her and Acalia to Paradise where she gave her former lover a piece of her mind (and found out it wasn't his former Queen he kept returning to, but a whole other family altogether). He twisted things in his usual charm, but this time she had no intention of budging on her decision. She has been left too many times!

Paradise was beautiful just like the usual homes Rougaru took roast in. She loved his taste but hated it at the same time. A snort fills the silence and startles her sleeping newborn awake. "Whoops sorry my love." Himena gently nuzzles her beautiful painted silver foal as she lay in the tall grass. The filly stares at her mother questioning her reason for being so loud. The white mare just chuckles as her child lays her head back down on the jungle floor. Himena's eyes wander to the surrounding trees and vegetation wondering who their first visitor would be.
