I wear this crown

13.1hhs – 2yrs old – british spotted pony – bay leopard

The new stallion says her name, complimenting her even, which keeps an amused smile upon her face. Lace still did not back off from her stance, remaining in his personal space, but he did not seem so keen to remove her either. Instead, he seemed excited, his prancing in place causing a giggle to escape her lips. Yngvar was easy for her to ignore now, and Letavice’s question caused her to tilt her head slightly. “How else am I to learn the different places here, if I do not ask where others live?” she replied with a question of her own.

It was Yngvar’s departure that finally broke her attention from the grey young stud, turning to see that he had left. Lace didn’t know if she was supposed to follow him or not, he had wanted her to go home with him. Taking a step in the direction the paint had disappeared, the spotted mare stopped. If he had wanted her to follow, he would have made sure she knew he was leaving, rather than just walking off without a word.

“Actually, I only just recovered from the swim here.” Lace confessed, looking over her spotted shoulder at Letavice. Her blue eye barely able to see him as she peeked through her thick forelock at him. “I asked Yngvar about this place, but he only told me of his home. A waterfall sounds exciting! We should go find it; the meadow has gotten boring anyways.” Despite wanting to just dash off to go explore, Lace waited for Letavice to lead the way. He was the one more familiar with this place after all, if he knew about a waterfall.
