Yesterday At Scout Valley

I went for a hike yesterday at Scout Valley. I saw:
American Toads
Common Garter Snakes
2 Eastern Red-backed Salamanders
1 Northern White-tailed Deer
Eastern Chipmunks
American Red Squirrel
Black-phased Eastern Grey Squirrels
American Robins
Black-capped Chickadee
Blue Jay
Turkey Vulture
I also saw a Belted Kingfisher, Wood Frogs, and a Common Grackle at my cottage. Litter remains an issue at Scout Valley mostly by the parking lots, as well as cigarette filters along the trails. Scots Pine are becoming invasive in the open areas at Scout Valley.
