The healing process was speeding up so he decides it was time to travel away from the Inlet and find out first hand what has been happening around his island. It was time he officially took back his island for one, but he also needed to see how Solomon was fairing with the Cove and meet the new leader of the Bay. It was funny that soon after Shaydowfax left Tinuvel (he thinks he chased her off by having her son murdered) that Liland, too, left. Both his pests were gone in a month, but now he would need to find out if this new leader posed a new issue on his island.

Warsaw travels to the Cove first to collect Solomon since they had previously talked alliance and strategy. He found the Dutch Harness stallion gone so he decides to just go alone to meet the Bay's leader. He had hope they could talk smoothly about the fate of Tinuvel especially since Warsaw found respect in Zharko, a young stallion that claimed to live in the Bay for a short time. He moves the exact path Solomon had, following what was left of his scent, through the Bay.

It didn't take him long to find the two stallions even with his slow choppy gait. He was healed mostly by this point, but his walk wasn't that same as it had once been. Arthritis was set into his joints, mostly where he had hurt his front leg in the battle with Shamwari, but he doesn't let this new pain stop him. He found not moving didn't change anything. Warsaw comes to stand beside Solomon just as the stallion asks the new Bay leader a question of Liland's quick depart.

Warsaw didn't really care for the answer. All he cared about what Liland stayed gone, but he didn't interrupt the answer this other stallion gave. Instead, he just listens until it was his turn to speak. No doubt this Gypsy Vanner in front of them would already know who he was.
