Unfortunately, I ran across this story before I knew of such a thing as the Wayback Machine, so I deleted the link when it broke
I think it was by Jeri(who wrote Vulpecula) or maybe Jori (Christopher Ryan Scully series author) and at the time the fic was definitely unfinished. It probably had the word "Ice" in the title.
To the best of my recall, Maggie was driving on a snowy night, probably bringing William home after babysitting him, and they got into a wreck. Bill or Charlie Scully might have been a character in the story too.
Ring any bells??
