Mother Goose is just a fairy-tale

Goose had no intentions of turning on the little chestnut mare. Goose was true to his words. He had honor and humility. He had compassion and withheld judgement. It wasn't as though he knew her well. He barely knew the smaller feathered creature. That would change in time he hoped though. That was, if she let him remain. Goose loved the Bay and Tinuvel. He might not be its ruler but friendship and a home to him, were more important. In moments, he had been stubborn. That was gone now. There is sincerity in him and it would seem that Valka realized that.

"Trust does take time." He admitted with a bob of his head ever so gently. Goose held his ground before her, but did not move to approach her. Goose would let her make that move if it were to come. He respected her space as much as she seemed to respect his own. Goose listened as she told him she neither was an enemy. Goose believed that honestly. A home it seemed was what she initially came looking for. Goose wondered what may happen in the future but he would work on that trust. A bond needed to be formed with Valka as the leader of their home. Goose had lost that if only just. She'd proved a formidable opponent. She was sturdy and firm. Stubborn? Perhaps but then, Goose was too. That was something that seemed to run strong in the feathered bunch though. Valka had heart and compassion of this much he is sure.

Words heard then of starting anew and Goose had no qualms to that at all. "Well met Valka. Yes, I am goose." He offered in return and his tone is smooth. It is rich and flowing with a certain calm. "I am grateful of you allowing me to stay in the home I've known and come to love. It is perhaps, the first steps to our hopeful gaining of trust. I appreciate it more than words could really say." Oh but Goose knew he had much to prove to the little chestnut. Goose had been harsh in the beginning and he did so regret that. Stubborn and spiteful but so quickly had he come to his realizations of being wrong. It was time to amend the wrong he'd committed. It was only right and he was an honorable creature through and through.
