The golden colt hadn't expected to be found by another so soon but he guessed he should have expected that after calling out like he did. Maybe next time he should be more quiet. But then, he did want company, just not from his parents this time. The silver buckskin horse that approached him was older and much bigger but Chronos wasn't fearful. He straightened up and lifted his head, reached out his muzzle toward the older colt as he got closer. The other male smelled like Paradise so Chronos had to assume he was also a herd member. Yay, a new face, just like he wanted! Excitement had his tail swishing back and forth like a dog wagging its tail as he watched the other horse with vivid green eyes. For a moment, it seemed like the other colt was just going to stare at him and Chronos was anything but patient. With a huff and a snort, he stomped his front hoof. "I know you can see me, you know." When the silver colt finally did speak, it was to ask if he was lost. That pulled another snort from the golden colt as he tossed his head and scowled. "Of course not. I know exactly where I am." He said with confidence, even as he glanced around. In all honesty, he had no idea which direction would take him back to his parents but he wasn't going to let this guy know that! Then the buckskin had the nerve to tell him his mother was probably getting worried and explained the jungle was dangerous. Chronos only scowled harder and narrowed his eyes in a glare as he lowered his head some and widened his front legs. "Danger don't scare me." He said as he flared his nostrils and stomped his hoof again. Then the colt said he could walk him back and he snapped his head back up and took a step back. Wait, what? He didn't want to go back! He wasn't hungry yet so why find his mother right now? Tilting his head, the golden colt thought for a minute before he gave a little smirk, his eyes lighting up. "Sure....you can show me around on the way." Now he could just act like he knew how to get back to his parents and make the colt take him on a wild goose chase around the island.
