He knew Liland was no longer here so it was not the narcissistic Fjord he was coming to see. No, he was curious to know who this new stallion was that his father was trying to make a deal with. Father said he was a buckskin Gypsy Vanner who seemed to rely on kindness in gathering his herd. Ironclad thinks this new stallion was a better fit for Tinuvel than Liland had been even before meeting him. The growing stallion excitedly skips through the trees towards the Bay, all the while humming some cheerful tune. He wished Sighurd was here to go on this adventure with him. Suddenly the smell of Valka hit him like a ton of bricks.

He stops dead in his tracks before making slow steps passed the border of the Inlet and just inches into the Bay's territory. Seems this Goose fellow has fallen to someone else, Valka to be exact. The small mare's scent was everywhere as was bits of her hair as he brings his nose to sniff at some fluff on a nearby tree. There was no mistaking who was here now and oh how his father would be angry. He gulps nervously thinking of his father's face when he explains to him that the mare he had traded to Rougaru for his wild Medusa, was now here leading the Bay.

Not only was this another mare leader on their island, but this one probably didn't like their prince very much. At least Shaydowfax has offered Warsaw to keep his kingdom, but Ironclad had no hope that Valka would do the same. He knew so little of the tiny foreign mare of fluff, but he did know that she was tough-skinned. She wasn't about to bow to anyone just like she hadn't easily fallen onto his hooves when he claimed her. Ironclad had been charming too!

Nervous royal blue eyes search the area for signs of her as he decides if he should turn back. Was it already too late to run back home?
