A lot has brought Indira to this moment, and into everything she is today. Not all of it is battles of the physical kind. Sometimes war is much more subtle and sometimes the only war you fight is a war within yourself. This is perhaps what she is avoiding now. She is using this stranger as a distraction, and welcoming the noise of the storm to drown out the voices in her own head.
Through the roar of the pouring rain, Indira's eyes flash with mischief and pain. Her heart skips a beat, caught off guard by the young stranger's flattery. For a moment she freezes, leveling a gaze no longer flashing, but lit with the fire of a different kind of desire. Through the falling of the heavens, she sees this young stallion for more than the juvenile he is.
A foreleg cuts through the space between them. The stallion accepts her challenge, drawing her from other thoughts and back to the battle's beginning. The young stallion's call trumpets out, sounding above the roar of the rain, warning Indira of his intent to move. Through the storm her eye follows his movement, allowing her to meet him, right shoulder to right shoulder. His bite glances off her side, leaving little more than a scratch and she aims a bite of her own at the thin skin behind his elbow.
The first attack is a moving attack. Indira takes her shot with gnashing teeth as she surges past him, veering left. With head up and ears drawn, she casts a quick glance behind her, gauging her distance and the angle. Satisfied, she wastes no time. Indira winds up and lets loose a powerful, double-barreled kick. Her heels fly, aiming for his right-side barrel.
