He allows his glacial eyes to wander the length of stony shores. The Isle of Tinuvel is an unforgiving place, it is much like the Norðurland. A land intended only for those who were as frozen and frigid as the land itself. The weak did not survive nor were they permitted to live. A cold truth that most would think cruel, but to them it was mercy and kind to kill those who were weak. Foals who were born with sickness were pushed into the frigid winters, allowed to succumb to the icy temperatures.
An unforgiving place indeed.
The sound of hooves on frozen earth draws him from his musing and his glacial narrow as they fall upon a fuzzy creature bearing down on him. She is not Liland nor does she look pleased to see him. Instantly his ears disappear into his unkempt, water logged mane and his mouth falls agape to reveal his blunt teeth as she barrels down on him. He arches his neck, revealing the thick coils of muscle that ripple along his crest and a guttural roar erupts from between barred teeth.
Just as they are about to collide she lunges to the side and away from before she turns to face him. His tail lashes against his sides as his narrowed eyes settle on the fuzzy mare. His ears do not appear from beneath tangles of his mane even as she snarls and snaps at him. But as she stomps her wee little hoof, his mouth snaps shut and a smirk begins to crawl across his lips. Finally, after a few moments of silence, he parts his lips to introduce himself. "Ég er Björn," he introduces himself in his native tongue before he continues.
"Is this how you welcome your future allies?" he asks with a tilt of his crown. "A word of advice, on these Isles you want all the friends you can get." he pauses and allows his words to sink in.
