As I understand history the first people who became slaver were those captured in warfare, and after the massacre some were saved from death to become servants /slaves, some white
( fed to lions?) maybe became a gladiator to fight for their life, so our blacks ancestors had a choice for life or servitude (slavery) and some black tribes in Africa ( or the Carribbean) were involved in slavery. well, some were successful in arising in Haiiti.
