OOC: Sounds good!

The one figure who ended up coming to her in her anger was both exactly the one she wanted to see and yet the last one she wanted to see all at the same time. It was like he had a radar telling him there was trouble at home. She stomped the wet sand beneath her hooves and pawed at the shells that washed up with the waves. The cool air made her shiver and only gave more fuel to the fire that burned in her chest. She wasn't angry at the mare on Atlantis. She had something about her that had even Medusa drooling when she set her eyes on her. It was probably the same thing that had her betrothed spell bound. She wasn't even sure exactly why she was mad at Ironclad. He should have allies in other herds, mare or stallion, and if he wanted to be creative in how they kept those bonds strong, then so be it. Having a foal with the mare didn't make her on Medusa's level (though really she felt she was a step below that mare at this point since she was just betrothed to a future king and the mare was probably already a queen, but that's not the point).

Seeing the way he looked at the roan mare made Medusa angry because it finally hit her how little they really know about each other. Did he make all his mares feel special like that? Somehow, the look looked so pained that she didn't see how he could fake it, but maybe he was that good? Maybe she needed to see him with more mares. She knew he had at least one he collected hanging around somewhere. She made it a goal to go hunt her down and have a little chat. She needed to know exactly what kind of stallion she was betrothed to. Her brief chat with Valka left doubts in her mind that never went away. They were cut short when Valka left Paradise but she'd never forget the disgust that dripped from the tiny mare's lips when she spoke of Ironclad. There was obviously bad blood there. She wanted to know more. No, she needed to know more.

As the grey colt made his way toward her, it was all Medusa could do not to show her teeth and lunge at him for the slow hesitant way he approached her. Did he think she had leprosy or something? Was he afraid she was going to hurt him? If he kept tiptoing around, then she probably out just out of spite. He had yet to really touch her and he barely talked to her. Most of the time, Medusa couldn't tell if he even had an interest in getting to know her or if he was just planning on showing her off in public then avoiding her the rest of the time. Well, that's not what she signed up for so he needed to straighten up. She stomped her hoof in the sand again, ears laid back and eyes narrowed as he got closer. Her nostrils flared, still tasting the Atlantis mare's scent on his coat. She had the sudden urge to trip him again just to make him roll in the wet sand and get that scent off. Even the swim back didn't completely rid him of it and it only made her feel more insecure.

The nicker he gave was warm, surprisingly enough, but the smile didn't look completely genuine. She snorted as he asked if something was wrong. Giving her wet tail a swish, she tossed her head and took a bold step forward, judging his reaction. "Are you planning on spreading your seed throughout all the herds or just the one with a pretty lead mare? Will you approach my mother next? Cause I could give you some pointers." Venom dripped from her voice as she spit the words at him, her body trembling with restless energy.
