The joy in her voice carries on the wind like a song. It travels across meadow to his dark ears which flick in response. His head shoots up and points his nose in the direction of her voice where his blue eyes cast a soft glow on her rustic features. She was already moving towards him, so he stands mesmerized by the bounce of her thick locks against her neck. Every step she took was breathtaking. Suddenly, that weird feeling began to happen again. It was the same thing that caused him to nearly mount her last time and caused him that have that dream about Xiomara. What did this mean?

Kvothe comes to him quickly and presses her lips to neck. His eyes close for a moment as he takes in her scent slowly. It was good to feel her touch again after the rush of adrenaline he just had in the Desert. He may have lost, but maybe this would be victory enough. Kvothe was so observant, she knew right away he was hurt. Before he could answer she began to clean his wound which at first he jumped at her touch on his shoulder. It hurt as she licked him, but he tries to keep still.

"Everyone keeps telling me I'm too young or not ready. I had to do something to prove to everyone that I am ready to be a King and a grown stallion." He shifts his weight while trying to stand tall as she cleans his wound. "I challenged for a mare I thought would fit nicely into our herd. I only have you and Medusa, but if I had more mares to look after than maybe father will let me become King early." Then he could mate with Xiomara and not feel guilty about his feelings of lust towards Kvothe. His chestnut beauty then begins to clean his coat down his back.

He was sure he still has sand from the foreign island on his coat. "Thanks Kvothe." He smiles as his eyes slowly close. He starts to enjoy her touch a little too much so he has to keep shifting his weight to keep the sensations at bay.
