With an innocent heart, she loves

Eness
..mare..five..arabian..black rabicano..15.1 hh..

Had she forsaken Sakhmet’s heart? Words are lost in that of her throat, mouth feeling as though it was parched and desperately in need of a drink with the thick knot of emotions on the tip of her tongue. She fights to swallow, a shudder of delight shaking her to her very core with his gentle touches that just barely touches that of her fading heat inside. Her head tucks close, just out of reach for both his sake and hers, finally giving herself a moment to think with a single ear trained on him and the other slanted back against her dark hair. Unsure and scared, not knowing how her beloved would react to the prospect of a bride price.

“I do not know how she’d truly react, we have been by each other's side since we were small little girl’s, but as you said i have not given my heart away for she carries it with her even though i have been completely oblivious to what we have together,” Eness muses, almost talking as if Atair was not bearing witness to his soul sewns mindless mutterings to herself. Eyes close and a heavy sigh leaves her, what a mess she’d gotten them both into. Sakhmet had every right to run off like she had. What they have between them was a trivial thing, Eness long suspecting the blood marked mare had more feelings than being a simple protector like she’d originally intended, how Eness intended her to be. “I will go to her in the morning, when her fire is out, and we may speak on what her price will be. I think it would mean more coming from me than you Atair,” dark eyes slide open again, glancing once up to her glittering stars and then to her fallen one just in front of her.

“To love a mare only to find ones other half to their soul,” a shake of her head and a flick of her tail against her white streaked sides give way to her unease as she rocks on unsteady legs, “my father would have killed her, for tainting that of his blood, but if I were so ruined I would not have found you ya hayati. Let us worry over this on the morrow, i would like to rest and clear my mind for now.”

ya hayati- my life

she walks in beauty, like the night
of cloudless climes and starry skies;
