His sons were getting older and soon it would be time for them to succeed him. Warsaw had hoped he would have more time as the Inlet leader, more time to get back their island kingdom, before they overtook him. Honestly, he didn’t care if the boys pushed him off the throne by force or by waiting for him to allow them take over. He would wait for one to follow the other, but he did hope they would do it together. He prays his twin sons would always be together or at least find each other if they were ever to be separated. This is why he planned to test their relationship in the coming months.

He waits to hear his son’s answer about his sudden disappearance from the Inlet. Warsaw knew some of the reason why Ironclad left so he figured Letavice was coming into the same maturity. In the seasons to come, Vita Nova and himself would become grandparents to the spawn they brought into this world. Nothing would make him prouder than to see the next generation born here just as his own sons had been. A chuckle rolls off his tongue at his son’s reaction to his question.

That enough told him that Letavice did have someone he was interested in. Lace he says. Warsaw grins at his son as Letavice says her name proudly, but his expression changes into a serious tone as he asks about the Lagoon. He could tell Letavice has been thinking hard about this. He waits until his son was finished before answering him. ”I had Cullen send someone to the Inlet to help protect the family I left behind.” He nudges his son’s shoulder with his soft nose before pulling back to look at his son’s face.

”The Lagoon is a fine place to learn the ways of stallion hood. If you desire to go there and learn I would not be opposed though your right bout you mother not liking it.” His eyes rolls with a laugh. ”I can find a way to convince her if you like.” Warsaw snorts before continuing. ”My cousin is the current Boss of the Lagoon and has been for a while now. He is strong, too, perhaps even stronger than I am. There is a lot you could learn from him so let me know if this is the path you choose to follow.” He was fine with each of his boys finding their own way as long as they drew back towards each other in the end.

For some reason he wanted them to stay together. ”And I hope this Lace treats you well.” Laughter fills the air as he steps away from his son. ”Find me later if you make a decision Letavice.” Warsaw then strides away to find his Queen.
