Recent news reported that Seattle Protestors object to their Freedom of Speech being abridged by not having access to ways and means of protecting themselves from devices used by police - such as tear gas, flash bangs and mustard gas. Never mind that police use such devices to overcome a crowd hell-bent on destruction of private property, harm to opponents of protestor's points of view, and the abridgement of other groups who wish to express a different view from those of the protestors! The protestors objections have reached the unbelievable point that they insist on these protective ways and means (eg protective vests) being provided from the taxes we pay! So I am supposed to pay taxes for police support in protecting my property and rights of speech - and then pay more taxes to take away that support???? Hmmmmm Replies:
