Talien's restless energy was contagious and Dex knew it wouldn't be much longer before they needed to leave Paradise to find something more for themselves, somewhere to call home. They were pretty much left alone here, but Dex didn't trust that to last forever. It would only take Talien's fall scent to find the nostrils of Rougaru and maybe he'd decide to take action on it next time. Just the thought was enough to make the bay stallion see red. At last Chronos was a good distraction from their restlnessness. The little colt liked to hide as much as he liked to run off and though Dex applauded his instincts, he also worried for the colt's health in the danger of the jungle. As it was, the stallion was so distracted by searching for his son that he didn't even notice the pale mare till she jumped at him. He jerked back and his ears flattened, but when hsi green eyes set on his beauty, he instantly grinned and pricked them again. "Oh that? I was faking it for your sake. I totally saw you." He assured her, his eyes twinkling with amusement. As she leaned out to touch him, he leaned into her caress, letting out a sigh of contentment. When she pulled back, she had a smug grin on her face and he couldn't help but raise a brow in suspicion. She was up to something. At her words, he chuckled. "Oh, don't worry, my love. I'll be sure to keep challenging you in other ways." He purred the words in her ear before taking a teasing nip at it. His own tail lashed at his flanks as he turned to look around them. "Any signs of Chronos? His trail went cold on the other side of the island."
