 "It was a war YOU breathed life into. His tail snaps across his hocks and over his haunches. The hatred and pride in Warsaw's heart had always been there. It was smoldering long before Björn had set his hoof in the Inlet to meet with the King of the Inlet. His War was one of selfish pride over spreading his seed to a woman who wanted none of it. His brow furrows and a growl lingers on his lips as he turns his glacial eyes towards the Jungle King. "I understand this," he pauses a breath "Where were my allies when Cullen and his men were knocking on my door and stealing my children, your grandson?" he asks with a raise of his head and a flash in his eyes. He warily eyes the King who stands before him. A precarious relationship they have - distrust beneath the surface, diplomacy on top. She is my gift to you. "If we are allies, than I suggest we be so... and not continue to bring up gifts so they can be used in order to control the other. Wouldn't you agree?" His glacial eyes remain on the dark eyes of the Jungle King, his neck arches and muscles ripple beneath his smoky hide. His ears waver atop his crown as Rougaru speaks. He acknowledges that they both have enemies and Björn simply nods his skull. He watches the King before him explain that his pack is life, and that his legacy is what he wants for his children and their children. "What is it you want Bjorn? What will you risk to see it happen?" A breath lingers on his lips as he contemplates the Jungle King's words. "To honor my fathers memory and to keep the Móðurland for generations to come," he pauses and narrows his glacial eyes "No matter the cost." Bera Konung of the Inlet |
