Race fans have looked forward to the delayed Indy 500 this year�it was shaping up to be an interesting finish with the leaders getting into traffic�then came the caution that spoiled it all.

Finishing races under caution is ridiculous, especially the Grandaddy of them all. They should have red-flagged the event until the crash was cleaned up and allowed the cars to go to their pits, with no work on the cars allowed. Alternatively, let the caution continue but have a green-white-checkers finish. If you�re concerned about cars running out of fuel because they have to run two extra laps, let all of the cars pit�only to fuel (no other work allowed). Anything but a finish under a yellow flag.
