Thanks for the info. I looked at that picture in the "Cold Warriors" year book with a magnifying glass and it was still too fuzzy to recognize anyone. I thought the plebes wore white works for the monument climb but the picture shows regular white uniforms worn backwards with shoulder boards on.
With all the people in the Class who seem to remember so much detail about our Academy years, it surprising that over the years that I have asked question know one has come forward with any knowledge of our climb. You would think that the classmate that got the hat to the top would be as well known as the name of our Anchorman -- Dick Olso.n Replies:
