The moon lights my way

Colt // Mutt // 14.2hh (wfg)
moon touched heir of the Badlands

Roheryn x Feray

Ajnur had done as his mother told him to; find Jordan. The girl was older than him, his rescuer from that day on the cliffside, perhaps even the designated babysitter to keep an eye on the wayward heir of the badlands at times; regardless of all that she was all Ajnur had as company other than his parents, and was all too eager to find and play with her. Maybe a game of tag could be pestered enough to entice the young mare, or even try some more rock climbing. He travels the coast at first, looking and calling for her to no avail before turning inland to search. Following his nose he finds her most recent trail, blue eyes looking off in the distance in the direction she’d gone; right over their home's boundary line.

He pauses, pondering his next step. His mother did say to find Jordan, so surely that meant he was finally allowed to go play in another’s land right? Ajnur risks a glance over his shoulder, looking back the way he’d come to be sure his parents hadn’t followed him and huffs out a happy sigh to see neither of them in sight. With a gleeful chuckle to himself he trots right over the invisible line and continues his trek along the sands. With every step Ajnur found himself dredging through more sand than he was used to, and found himself favoring the cavernous home he lived in more than the desert and it’s barren lands. At least he had rocks. Movement far ahead catches his attention and he is delighted to find Jordan within his sights, but before he can call to her there is another joining her; a stallion that was black and white, heavy bodied unlike everyone else back home and so very tall, just like his own mother but that didn’t mean this male was as nice as his mother.

Against all better judgement he darts in their direction, missing anything the pair might have said to each other for the young boy was determined to keep Jordan safe for his father’s sake. “Jordan,” Ajnur greets her, coming up alongside her with his head low and eyes guarded while eyeing the larger stallion before them. “Is he bothering you?”, the young prince whispers to her when turning his gaze to her a moment to look her over, and once finding not a hair out of place does his icy blue gaze fall on the male again. The young colt was a small and skinny thing, a breeze could probably blow him over, but the boy had a fierce heart and that made up for what he lacked in size.

“I am Ajnur of the badlands,” he says to the stallion, bringing his head up to puff his chest out and appear just as intimidating as Cain himself looked before him.
