PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Ain't life just awful strange

a new world hangs outside the window
beautiful and strange
it must be I've fallen awake
I must be

The dark bay mare settled stiffly a few feet away from the others, giving them their space of course, as they adjusted to their new surroundings. Her amber eyes turned to the colt at the painted mare's side. He looked quite weary, and despite Wasp's general apathy for children, she felt a flicker of concern churn through her gut. The Prime Minister of the Peak looked to Nekharat next as the red mare explained briefly what lead them to this moment, here at such an early hour.

She nodded her heavy head, and flashed a short-lived, but warm smile to Vanya and the colt. "Welcome. You must be exhausted." She offered with the flick of her dark, wavy tail. "I'm Wasp. It's nice to meet you both. Please let us know if there's anything you need. I'm sure Nekharat can show you where you can get some rest."

Wasp knew there would be repercussions for Nekharat’s actions. And they would come soon. Rougaru had already traveled to their mountain home once, in warning. And while Wasp's good graces with the silver bay stallion had kept them out of his warpath until now, she knew that this latest development - a Vulcan mare literally stealing from him - would not come without revenge.

But the mare knew, somewhere, deep down, that this day was bound to come.

Rougaru had been fatherly to her, when she was younger and lost. He'd offered her advice when she had no one else. And even in the war, as their eyes locked through the churned dust at dawn, he'd bypassed her and her herd even though they fought on opposite sides. But Wasp, too, was guilty. She turned a blind eye when she heard the rumors of Rougaru's ugly ways with women and children. He had not harmed her, or her dam, or anyone in their immediate keep. But he was a source of tyranny among the isles. His record of rape and enslavement was long.

And his day, it seemed, had come.

Wasp breathed a heavy sigh and nickered quickly to Nekharat before the trio strolled too far. "We'll need to talk more about this." She said quickly. "At a later time."
