A few birds of Mayers Marsh Posted on September 11, 2020 at 03:08:38 AM by Don Scanlan
Took a late evening walk at Mayers Marsh under cloudy skies at 7:30.
A slightly cool 14 degrees celsius kept the mosquitos away.
Walking the trail to Willow Creek I was surprised when a Hummingbird flew over, heading southward, followed by another 10 seconds later.
A Green Heron called and then 2 Catbirds.
There were a few Sparrows also, although I could not i.d. them by their chips.
Otherwise it was quiet. Replies: There have been no replies.
