Weakly, she storms away from Solomon and her newborn son. She follows Ailill as best as she could while telling him not to slow down for her. Ysabel keeps her own pace as she stomps her hooves all the way to the Inlet. This trip has been already planned anyway, but her mission has changed. She was going to give Bjorn a piece of her mind and argue about Askold and Haskuldr’s wellbeing. Then, she would make jabs at Nyimara, but all this wasn’t coming until after Lorcan was stronger. Time never did seem to be on her side which is why she fought so hard to gain the things she wanted out of life.

Solomon was mistaken on how urgent this matter was. He argues about the sake of her new child and his own insecurities, but he was wrong. She never would have left little Lorcan in his care if she didn’t think he could handle it. She wouldn’t be gone long, as the Inlet was only so far away, and Solomon had plenty of children to take Lorcan to distract him if need be. He even had a plethora of mares who could nurse him if he grew hungry. If wasn’t like she was leaving forever. Ysabel only plans to be gone an hour, that was all she needed to help Ailill get his mare back.

Siobhan was more than any mare. She was one of her closest friends still on the island. With Elvira gone, there was no one else she really connected with expect Siobhan. To know that the evilest mare she has ever met had her clutches around her Ysabel had no other choice. Siobhan and her children needed her more than her own child did right now. Ysabel knew the impact Nyimara could have on a young mind and she was afraid for the child of Siobhan and Ailill. She would explain all this to Solomon later. Besides, their relationship was no new there was not much they had to go on besides the loyalty he showed her uncle. They would need more than that to survive the trails that always seem to come her way.

It is only determination that makes her able to be successful on this journey. Some anger too, but the determination to save her dear friend is much stronger. Ailill makes it to them first as Ysabel slowly walks some distance away. She stops for a breather as her eyes search the Inlet for the enemy. The scent of Bjorn was faint, so much so that she might even inquire about his whereabouts. If he was no longer here it was time for her family to take their home back. She would love to see that look on his face if that happened! Unfortunately, the acrid stench of Nyimara was still strong. Ysabel knows if Bjorn’s Queen was still lurking around than so was he.

She frowns, but continues closer to Ailill, Siobhan, and their foals. A few drips of blood mark the Inlet floor from the hardship she was putting her body through as she walks closer. As soon as she is close, her nose nudges Ailill’s shoulder as she whispers. ”We should go now. We must be quick before Nyimara sees us and keeps Siobhan from leaving.” She did not see anyone right now, but that did not mean something could change in the blink of an eye. Ysabel smiles sweetly at the two twin girls parading around their mother. This should be such a tinder moment between mother and father, but instead it was being rushed. This was all so very sad.

She assumes Siobhan was tired too after having twins. They didn’t seem to be newborns, but still very new to life. ”We can go back to the Cove until the twins are ready for travel.” She suggests this knowing if Solomon saw all of them return it would help her cause in explaining everything later. She wouldn’t blame them if they just wanted to leap into the sea and never look back. It would be nice for the twins to meet Lorcan, but she says nothing more on the matter. This was up to them and she was just along to make sure they made it home safely. Even though she was weakened from her difficult birth, Ysabel stands back on the outskirts of the group and watches for danger. As soon as they got moving she would either follow them back to the Cove or go back to the Cove by herself.
