Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

-THERE IS NO HONOR AMONG THIEVES

-there is no honor among thieves

Fearghas,

I understand you have a weakness for this mare and I have left you waiting for my answer.

The issue was much simpler back at the commons, but now it has become more complex. Your mare is insulted by my touch and refuses the Lagoon life you have brought her into. Now you wish to save her while she speaks in disrespectful tones to her leader. This decision might be easier if she didn’t challenge me that way she does. Plus, I have now put my sweat into keeping her here. As you know Faolain challenged for the two of you and lost.

The injury I sustained will not be in vain. Your offer of one stallion to trade for Aallotar’s freedom is no longer valid. You are young Fearghas, but one day you will learn hard work must come with some reward. In order to achieve the freedom of your claimed mare you will need two stallions or two colts. If you cannot manage two then I will settle with the release of one of my old bachelors from the Peak, but good luck making that happen.

Your Captain,
Cullen
